The main entrance to the Mountain View Lodge brings you into the kitchen. While this space is on the smaller side, it is well designed and features a large farmhouse sink, stunning copper hood, and a beautiful, professional range that includes a built-in pot filler faucet. A pantry is located next to the refrigerator and the U-shaped counter includes bar seating, providing plenty of room for prep work and entertaining. Beyond the kitchen is a large, great room featuring a prow-shaped window wall. Carved bears adorn the timber frame trusses and other log accents. A large river stone fireplace is another highlight of the great room and includes beautifully carved and live edge wood accents. This open space is finished with a good-sized dining area that is easily accessed by the kitchen.
The rest of the main floor includes a guest bedroom (with a Paul Bunyan theme) and an adjoining bathroom, along with the master suite. The master includes a spacious bedroom with a small fireplace and a master bathroom with a large closet. Meanwhile, the upstairs has two more bedrooms, another bathroom, and a fantastic loft space that is perfect for a library, office, or sitting area.
Moving downstairs to the walk-out basement, the decor takes a distinct Western turn. Walking past the poker tables and through some saloon doors takes you into the bar area that includes a window that opens out towards the grill area of the patio. Outside are multiple seating options, a water feature, fire pit, and a hot tub. Covering this area is a large deck that is accessible from the main floor and providing more space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and fresh air.
