The Huntington stately exterior design is dominated by a cross gabled roof line with multiple dormers, creating a classic log home look. (One of our clients even installed whimsical handcrafted bear statues on the roof line--one draped over a dormer, the other leaning against a dormer and peering into the distance.) The two-story design features 5,210 square feet of living space, with 3,350 square feet on the main level and 1,860 square feet on the upper level. ome clients opt to turn the space over the three-car garage into a bunk room, where you can house a dozen easily. The grand entryway sets the tone for the entire home, with a massive 30-foot white pine log used as a beam and generous windows above the front door, which allows plenty of natural day light. The foyer is flanked by staircase on the left, a study on the right and a powder room next door. 

 

The great room is straight ahead and it's the center of action, as well the area to show off the 12-inch diameter log walls and 30-foot logs used for vertical posts and horizontal beams. The great room also lets in plenty of daylight, with a bank of 10 windows and a fireplace for chilly autumn mornings and winter nights. 

 

With the open floor plan, the chef in the family will delight at being part of the action in the great room while creating tasty meals in the large kitchen with counter top seating for five, center island and handy pantry. The laundry room is conveniently located off the kitchen. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining room provides access to one of three outdoor deck spaces.
